ಶ್ರೀ

Its a Lord Venkateshwar Temple situated at Ramenahalli Mundaragi Taluk Gadag Dist..

In the time of krutayuga it was a mini forest where its a pratiti that Lord Shri Rama with Lakshman came here when he was going to SriLanka ...So its named as Ramanahalli....250 years ago a black shila (stone) of Lord Shri Venkateshwara was found here..By that time the maharaja of Mrudagiri (Now called Mundaragi) built a temple around and it was given to Katti family for worshipping the god. and also they gave jahagir (land) for surviving of the family around the village..The village is 2km distance form Mundaragi.
The shila (stone) is a Ekashila murthy faced towards the east..Its also have a speciality that at yugadi day the sun rays will directly fall onto the crown of Lord Venkateshwara...
The temple is built from the stone where divided into three parts , a garbha gudi and other two ..Its also have a honda (pond, collection of water for abhisheka) and infront of the temple a long Garuda gamba also we can see..Here 300 years long Ashwath Vruksha (Banyan Tree) is situated beside the temple...The environment is very good bhaktas can worship the god with concentrated mind...
From since 200 years the Katti family looking after the worshipping of the lord Venkateshwara. Today also all performances will be going on by the priests where everyone can get the blessings of shree Venkateshwara .
The programmes are conducted according to the Madhwa philosophy where all the pooja's are done in a well situated manner.The Navaratri Utsava is a very famous here all around in Mundaragi Taluk. From day first (Pratipat) to the Vjaya Dashami many programmes are conducted with a spiritual background like purana , Jnanasatra....At the day of Vijay Dashami so many bhaktas will come from diffrerent villages for the Dasara festival. The worshipping of the Shami vruksha will held in the evening.The god will bless all the bhaktas who pray and serve for him with the purest mind.
